Double Page Spread article SUUS Seeing Stars Max Simpson is not your ordinary 17 year old boy! By the young age of 15 he won the don’t flop award for best male artist making him the youngest performer to ever win the award he also won it the next year also the only person to ever to do that he is definitely turning heads. However now he is focusing on his solo career rather than his battling, he is really starting to make a name for himself after his first album 'Seeing Stars', he has received great reviews for the album including a 5* review from acclaimed music critic Stephen linsley who has only ever handed out 15 5* album reviews in his 13 year career. max's album has lead him down a star studded road, where h has crossed paths with some huge artists including professor blue and orthodox. I spoke to suus and all he had to say was “i never dreamed i would do so well it’s like a dream, and i don’t want the dream to end." The young rapper from Burnopfield in the north east of England, is certainly an artist that all hip hop fans should be looking out for in the future.

When Suus enters a room you certainly know he’s arrived, he radiates confidence and at the same time is so laid back and calm. He came into this interview with a  grin from one ear to the other and stating ‘my album just went platinum’  he was so ecstatic he seemed to be  talking a thousand words a minute, I didn’t get a word   in for 10 minutes. This is my second interview with the young rapper from Newcastle; the first time was for a specialist magazine named Zune which interviews upcoming  Talents and he hasn’t changed he oozed star quality  from the word go, telling me his hopes and dreams  which in fact he seems to be continuing to live through  as he said “It’s like a dream and I really don’t want it to  end” He has just finished his tour of his ‘recently’ platinum  album, He filled the biggest stadiums and arenas in all of  the UK including Wembley Which seats 90,000 and stands thousands more and filling it was a feat that the most established and experienced stars wouldn’t attempt, but Suus as I say is full of confidence and believed he could do it  he said ‘ of course I  thought I could do it my fans are great they would follow me to the ends of the earth’.   When I asked him what the journey has been like since the last time we met 4 he replied ‘I feel as though I have swapped lives with  someone else, everything in my life has just falling into place and now my album has just gone platinum I’m amazed, its surreal’  As Suus is only 20 years of age he is officially the youngest ever performer to have an album go platinum which is incredible, especially in time when British hip hop is dying, in the past few years Suus has sparked a hip hop revolution against the modern day music which in his words ‘is taking over and rotting the minds of the public’. He began to talk about his manager definition the Northeast rapper of the early 90’s, who unfortunately never got the break he deserved. Suus said ‘ the man is a genius he has such incredible ideas and always helps me when I’m writing he has been with me from the start and will be there till the end’ I had to wrap up the interview and so my final question to the rap sensation was what next? His reply was who knows I have my whole life ahead of me and Definition has big plans for me...
